Anthony P. Giorgio


Mr. Giorgio founded CIM Partners in response to a market need for unbiased and specialized advice and transactional services for the chemicals and materials industry. Mr. Giorgio has been focused on merger, acquisition, financing, transactional and strategic advisory services for more than 17 years, and brings a unique mix of investment banking and chemical industry background and expertise to assist his clients.

Prior to founding CIM, Mr. Giorgio held numerous senior positions in the chemical, private equity and investment banking sectors, in which he was responsible for originating, evaluating and executing dozens of transactions in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Mr. Giorgio’s chemical industry experience includes roles as Vice President of Corporate Development for International Specialty Products, a $2 billion specialty chemical company, and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Symxx Technologies, a publicly-traded chemical technology company. Mr. Giorgio has also held operating professional positions for leading, private equity firms specialized in the chemical industry, including Arsenal Capital Partners, where he was responsible for originating, executing and managing portfolio investments in the chemical sector. Mr. Giorgio has served on the boards of numerous specialty chemical and industrial businesses, including Novolyte Technologies, a leading supplier of fine chemicals and Lithium-ion materials for battery, electronics and specialty applications, Velsicol Specialty Chemicals, a leading supplier of agricultural intermediate chemicals and specialty plasticizers, and DG3, a leading, specialty printing and media company.

Prior to his work in the chemical industry, Mr. Giorgio worked with leading, global investment banks, including Merrill Lynch, where he focused on Merger and Acquisition advisory services for the specialty industrials sector. Mr. Giorgio holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, a BS in Finance from The Wharton School and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
